ennifer Lutz is a Senior Economist
at Economic Consulting Services Inc. She joined the firm in 1996, and
has since worked on a variety of international trade and tax projects.
Ms. Lutz has been involved with a number of antidumping and countervailing
duty cases before the International Trade Commission ("ITC")
and Department of Commerce ("DOC"). She has also participated
in a number of five-year "sunset reviews," providing analytical
support as well as testifying before the ITC on behalf of a steel producer.
Ms. Lutz also has experience working on the DOCs annual review
process of antidumping and countervailing duty determinations. She has
developed extensive knowledge about a number of industries while working
at ECS, including steel, ferroalloys, and light metals.
In addition, Ms. Lutz has been involved
in writing and editing a monthly trade newsletter, tracking international
development projects, and performing market research. Ms. Lutz also
participated in the development of a probabilistic model designed to
estimate life cycle costs of highway projects.
Ms. Lutz received her MPA from Ohio
University, with a concentration in policy and fiscal analysis and a
BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Before joining
ECS, Ms. Lutz worked as a research analyst for a consulting firm providing
economic and regulatory analysis for several federal agencies and as
a budget analyst with the Ohio Legislative Budget Office.
